Why Does Phenol Peel Cost Vary?
The cost of a phenol peel depends primarily on the treatment area. Targeted treatments such as the lower eyelids or perioral area require less time and can be performed under local anaesthetic, making them more affordable.
A full face phenol peel is a more extensive procedure that requires IV sedation or general anaesthesia, hospital facilities with cardiac monitoring, and a longer treatment time. This accounts for the higher cost.
All treatments are performed in a CQC-registered hospital by Mr Karri, a specialist plastic surgeon. The pricing reflects the expertise, safety standards, and comprehensive care included.
Phenol Peel Cost: Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a phenol peel cost in the UK?
At Kinvara Private Hospital a targeted phenol peel (lower eyelids, upper eyelids or around the mouth) is £650 and a full face phenol peel is £3,000. Both prices include consultation, the procedure, anaesthesia, aftercare products and follow-up.
Why is a full face phenol peel more expensive?
A full face peel takes longer, needs IV sedation or a general anaesthetic, and is done in hospital with heart monitoring throughout. Targeted areas are treated under local anaesthetic in a shorter session.
Are there any extra costs after the treatment?
No. Prescribed ointments, written aftercare instructions, a direct contact number and your review appointment are all included. You only need everyday sun protection once the skin has healed.
How does the cost compare with a facelift or injectables?
A phenol peel costs less than a surgical facelift and, unlike wrinkle-relaxing injections or fillers, it is a one-off treatment whose results last for years rather than months.
Is the price different if I travel from outside Yorkshire?
No. The fee is the same wherever you live. Patients travel to Rotherham from across the UK, and the initial consultation can be arranged to fit around your journey.
Do I pay for the consultation separately?
The consultation with Mr Karri is included in the treatment price. If you decide not to go ahead, a consultation-only fee applies, which we confirm when you book.
